I graduated with a double degree in Arts and Science, specializing in English and Biology. Throughout my university years I enjoyed sharing my knowledge and skills through tutoring, and love watching the 'a-ha' moment of understanding on students' faces when a tricky concept is finally understood.

I am a student-focused tutor, allowing the strengths and weaknesses of my student to shape our sessions. We will work together to overcome challenges, build your confidence and achieve the marks you desire. I build lessons around overcoming struggles from the foundations of what each student already understands. We will build on all aspects of literacy including reading, grammar, vocabulary, spelling, study techniques as well as writing skills. Challenges are easily broken down into smaller, bite-sized morsels which helps reduce feelings of overwhelm and stress. I will share my resources and study tips with you to ensure you are confident and prepared for any task English throws at you.
