About Fatima
Hi, my name's Fatima Baba and I am an aspiring Doctor. (But I have always loved teaching). Some fun facts about me are that I am obsessed with Harry Potter, you will always be able to sidetrack me with that. I love the colour lilac, cats, and ice cream! My favourite subjects at school are definitely biology, chemistry and maths as I have always been a STEM-based person. In my free time, I enjoy doing diamond art (Harry Potter themed) and paint by numbers which is very very fun. My methods of teaching involve using visual examples as well as interactive learning to keep students engaged. For regular students, I would always start a lesson with active recall of previous lessons. As well as this, I believe asking questions is the key to allowing students to have a deeper understanding and connection with the subject they are struggling with. My aim is to allow every pupil the capabilities to problem solve and answer the hardest question on an exam paper whether this be their SATs or GCSEs. Every student will need to understand and accept their own unique way of learning and I understand that what may work for one student may not for another, this is why we would try out multiple methods of revision such as blurting, flashcards or visual examples to help support my students. To allow proper understanding, any student is allowed an introductory first lesson for free to see if we connect and to see the struggles and learning styles of the particular student.

(Due to travel fees +you must also be located in the Stoke-on-Trent area or nearby for in-person lessons)
