About Megan
I am very friendly and easygoing. I get the job done without causing stress or anxiety. Art isn’t all fun, but learning can be!
I am professional, a good influence, and easy to work with. I can teach students of any age. I have experience with people from age 3 and up - teaching them how to get ahead in life. Sure, the 3-year-olds only needed to know how to swim (and they did!), but teaching is teaching. It’s about being approachable and trusted by your students.

I hold a BFA and an MFA, prior art professor of 12 years. I taught drawing, 2D design, 3D design, color theory, art appreciation/art history, and sculpture at the college level. I also helped my students assemble their portfolios, write resumes, and artist statements.
Since then, I’ve been a full time artist, making hyper-colorful drawings in space. I’ve shown in galleries and museums, city plazas, historic buildings, non profits, as well as colleges and universities since 1996.
I can help you get into art schools because I know what they are looking for at the bachelors and masters levels! Many of my prior students went on to top universities like Yale, UCLA, and Art Center (PS - I’m based in Los Angeles)
