About Suba
Hello! I'm a Science educator with an M.Sc. in Microbiology and a B.Ed., passionate about helping students understand Science with curiosity and confidence.
I teach Science for Grades 6-10, and Biology is one of my strongest areas of expertise.
My academic background in Microbiology has given me a strong foundation in areas such as cell biology, genetics, microorganisms, human biology and life sciences. My B.Ed. has helped me develop a more student-centered approach to teaching.
I believe every student can learn Science when the concept is explained in a way that makes sense to them.
Rather than simply giving students answers, I encourage them to think, observe, question and connect concepts with the world around them.
Whether a student needs help catching up with school lessons, strengthening their fundamentals, preparing for examinations, or simply becoming more confident in Science, I tailor my classes to their individual needs.

My teaching approach is simple: Understand → Explore → Apply → Practice.
In a typical class, I may:
1. Understand
Start by checking what the student already knows and identifying any gaps in understanding.
2. Explore
Introduce the concept using questions, examples, diagrams, demonstrations or real-life situations.
3. Apply
Connect the concept to everyday life and encourage the student to explain the idea in their own words.
4. Practice
Use questions, worksheets and exam-style problems to make sure the student can apply what they have learned.
I also encourage students to ask questions freely. There is no "silly question" in my classroom.
My goal is not just to help students score marks, but to help them become confident, independent Science learners.
