About Mae
Hi, I’m Mae! I’m a high school junior with a passion for language and child development. I began reading at age four, and by third grade, I was scoring at a post–high school level in English. I’ve studied both French and Latin, which have given me a stronger understanding of English grammar, sentence structure, and word roots, skills that help me explain language concepts clearly and with depth. Because of this background, I don’t just understand writing. I understand how and why it works. That has taken the fear out of the subject for me entirely and hope I can instill the same confidence in your student. I work to share my knowledge with grace, patience, and efficiency. I believe that the most progress happens in a supportive space where students feel safe to take their time.

I believe that grace and patience are the most important parts of learning something new, everyone needs time to grow and feel confident.
As a homeschool student , I’ve explored so many fun and activities and resources tailored to different learning styles, and I’m excited to share those tools. My goal is to create a kind and supportive space where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and keep improving at their own pace.
