Hello! I am Rumeysa, I am 21 years old. I graduated from Erciyes University, Chinese Language and Literature, and I am currently doing a master's degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages at Shandong University. I have HSK5 and HSKK intermediate-level certificates, which I obtained from the HSK exam, the Chinese Proficiency Exam. My hobbies include learning new languages and cultures, reading books, drawing and going for walks.

I have been working with students from different age groups for two years and I continue to give lessons with great enthusiasm.

My teaching techniques focus on ensuring that my students learn language and literature effectively. Below I can share some of the techniques I use:

Interactive Activities: I use various games, role plays and group work to make my lessons interactive and participatory. Such activities encourage active participation of students and make the course material more enjoyable.

Visual Materials: I use visual materials when explaining topics such as Chinese characters, and cultural elements. I help students learn better by using their visual memory. For example, I prefer the method of teaching characters by drawing them or showing them with pictures.

Songs and rhymes: Teaching some basic concepts and phrases in Chinese using songs or rhymes is effective in attracting students' attention and ensuring they are better remembered.

Storytelling: I make lessons more interesting by telling students about Chinese mythology, traditional stories, or contemporary stories. This allows them to learn language and culture together and attracts students' attention.

As resources, I usually use textbooks, language learning applications, interactive multimedia materials and internet resources. I also provide sample texts, assignments, and writing practices to improve students' reading and writing skills.

For my little friends in younger age groups, I use some methods to attract their attention, these are:

Games and Activities: I make lessons more fun with games, competitions and active activities. For example, when teaching vocabulary I use playing cards or memory games.

Colorful and Attractive Materials: I use colorful and attractive materials to attract children's attention. I attract students' attention by using materials supported by visuals such as drawings, pictures, posters or illustrations.

Storytelling: Students in younger age groups love listening to and telling stories. Therefore, I make lessons more interesting by using interesting stories such as Chinese mythology, fairy tales, or popular children's stories.

Music and Songs: Children love interacting with music. I use simple songs to teach basic words and expressions in Chinese. Songs both support language learning and attract students' attention.

Role Plays: I use the imagination of students in younger age groups and include them in drama and role plays. I help students improve their language skills by having them role-play different characters or create scenarios.

These are some strategies I can use to attract and motivate students. However, since every student is different, I strive to provide a more effective learning experience by adapting lessons to my students' interests and needs.
