With a passion for science and education, I thoroughly enjoy helping students to build their confidence, stretching and challenging them while creating a safe space for them. I can understand scientific concepts can be very difficult, which is why I take pride in creating a positive space for students where I will always cater lessons to the student's ability and working styles without rushing the student. As a tutor, my main approach is to pull out a student's understanding of the key concepts, and then challenge them to really test their understanding of scientific theories that set the foundation that the student will require as they continue their studies in science. Every lesson is catered to what the student is learning in school/any gaps where they feel like they did not fully understand a concept, or they struggle with how to apply their knowledge.
