I believe math should be simple, engaging, and fun, especially for young learners. My teaching style is interactive and student-centered, using games, visual aids, and real-life examples to make abstract concepts easy to understand. I focus on building strong foundations in number sense, problem-solving, and logical thinking, while also boosting each child’s confidence and love for learning.
Lesson Structure
A typical lesson lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the child’s age and focus level. For younger children (Preschool–Year 2), I keep sessions short, playful, and hands-on. For older primary learners (Years 3–5), I include guided practice, review, and gradual challenges to strengthen their skills.

I have several years tutoring early math. My approach has helped many young learners move from struggling to being confident in math.
