Hi, my name is Ryan, and I’m from South Africa. I am a native English speaker with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Communications, as well as a Level 5 Diploma in TEFL teaching. I am passionate about creating a positive and supportive learning environment where my students feel confident and excited to learn. Teaching English is more than just a job for me—it’s a way to make a meaningful difference in my students’ lives. My teaching journey began as a Scuba Diving Instructor in South Africa, which later took me to the Koh Rong Dive Centre in Cambodia. In this role, I had the privilege of teaching students of all ages and from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Much of my time was spent in the classroom, breaking down complex concepts into simple, engaging lessons and helping students build the confidence they needed before heading out to sea.
I now bring that same passion and dedication to creating a supportive learning environment in my English classes. My goal is to inspire my students to feel confident, comfortable, and excited as they progress in their language learning journey.
