Hello, my name is Ms. Magnasco. I am a high school American Sign Language (ASL) teacher currently teaching Levels 1–3. I am passionate about ASL and enjoy supporting students as they develop and strengthen their language skills through collaboration with their peers. My teaching approach emphasizes active interaction with the language and purposeful language play. I model target signs and structures for students and then provide guided opportunities for them to practice and apply their skills. A typical lesson involves presenting a signed scenario, followed by comprehension and discussion questions to reinforce understanding. I am a patient educator with prior experience teaching Deaf students, as well as working with students with disabilities and learning differences. My lessons are designed for American Sign Language Levels 1–3, supporting learners from beginner to more advanced proficiency levels.
