About Lael
I am currently a freshman at Towson University majoring in Elementary and Special Education. In my senior year of high school I worked closely with 1st and 2nd grade classes where I helped review reading, spelling, and grammar concepts with them as well as simple math. Being in the classroom every day helped me learn new teaching strategies to add to my toolbox.

Depending on the child's need, I will create specialized lesson plans targeting the area of need. Sample lessons include breaking down short stories, flipping through common sight words, and going over letters and their sounds. Depending on the topic, lessons may be simple or more involved based on the students needs.
