About Andrew
I aim to not just teach my students the concepts for grades but provide them a strong foundation allowing them to be successful in the class and future classes. I am also a big believer in giving confidence, praise, and a space for the student to be themselves. The more relaxed and confident the student, the more engaged and motivated they are to learn. I want to empower students to not be scared and frustrated by school but learn how to navigate through school effectively and with joy.

As a kid with ADHD I struggled learning certain concepts in school making the material daunting and frustrating. As someone who has a passion for learning, it is also my passion to make learning fun for others! I like to get to know my students and their learning preferences so I can provide tailored instruction to give the student the foundation and confidence they need to succeed in school! I graduated from haverford college with a degree in neuroscience and am going into research looking at how early life stress and early onset learning disabilities (ADHD, ADD, autism) affect learning and wellbeing. Therefore, I am passionate about teaching all kids, especially those with more specific educational needs.
