About Jane
Hi! I'm Jane, nice to meet you! I'm originally from the UK, Liverpool to be precise. Liverpool is famous for those 4 singers, otherwise known as The Beatles! It's also home to a pretty impressive football club :) I've lived in NZ for the past 18 years and while I was here, I completed my CELTA qualification and went straight into teaching English as a second language at AUT International House. I truly found my passion in teaching as I was able to meet people from around the world, have fun in my classrooms and see my students improve. I'd love to get to know you and what your English goals are. I can tailor our lessons so you are getting what you need, be it from general conversation and pronunciation practice, to grammar practice and reading and writing effectively. I've got you covered. I use resources based on your own interests, and use a range of interactive and 'real world' material. Let's get stuck in.

I've always loved teaching and can offer communicative, fun, interactive, and engaging lessons to help you succeed and stay motivated. Lessons will run between 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes depending on lesson content. I am CELTA Qualified and have had 7+ years experience teaching at AUT International House. My lessons are aimed at pre-university and mature students who are wanting to brush up on their language skills before beginning formal studies or just want to brush up their language skills for personal or work purposes.
