About Hugo
As you can see, my name is Hugo Jepsen, I am 24 years old and I come from Morpeth, The United Kingdom. I am also a writer and a poet and I write for Amazon.
I have been teaching English since I was 16 years old. I started by tutoring students at my school and then began teaching English professionally after I graduated from University.
I've never wanted to belong in a classroom. I've always wanted to become an independent tutor so I can coach students the way I believe they actually can learn.

The lessons are done via Zoom.
I specialize in communication techniques which include:
- Vocal Training: speed, pace, clarity and intonation;
- Memorization of Patterns: how to use grammar in a proactive manner;
- Behavioural Communication: typologies of speech such as formalities, informalities, and so much more.
- Culture assets: Note that I am from the UK, so you'll be learning British culture as part of your communication training.
I started teaching English when I was about 16 years old whilst in High School, and throughout the years, I've managed to acquire enough experience to respond to peoples' needs. I am also a writer and a poet which comes in hand with teaching.
The lessons go from 30 minutes to 1 hour. Typically per week, you can opt to have 2 to 3 classes per week which are ideal for a proactive student. Lesson materials are provided such as exercises and explanations in the written format. Also, more importantly, I keep my students as close as possible to an English reality.
I examine and sketch plans for individual students. I only work 1 to 1. Each student has the right to have personalized training at their disposal.
