I always teach vocal skills first of all. Needless to say, the emotion and expression are important. In my view, However, vocal skills are the most important things and basic in music. Without vocal skills, there is no any good music.
I love to talk about music during the lesson with students. It is important that we share our opinion about music.
When I have a lesson with students, I always use a variety of methods to use voice. For instance, abstract, direct approach and control method of the emotion,thinking, and mental during singing.
Moreover, I always pursue happiness with music :)
