About Sadie
After practicing yoga for about 7 years I travelled to Costa Rica and took a workshop with Adya Conte. There was no question that I would return and complete my 200 Hour Hatha Yoga Teaching Certification with she and her partner Velan of Sacred Seed Yoga. I have since continued my education in Yoga for Trauma, Yoga of 12-Step Recovery (Y12SR), Calligraphy Yoga, and am currently completing my 300 Hour Certification with Indra Yoga Institute.

I began my formal yoga practice in 2006 while I was living in New York City. I studied daily at Yoga Vida in Union Square and Yoga to the People in St. Marks Place and Williamsburg. In class, in a yoga studio was the one place on the planet where I could get some peace from my own mind - my racing thoughts, and the constant stream of stimuli from the streets of NYC. Now with the increased presence of social media in all of our lives, it is imperative to have a time each day to turn off the phone and turn all of our attention towards ourselves, our breath, and our inner experience,
