I believe effective tutoring begins with understanding each student as an individual. Hence, I approach tutoring math and chemistry with straightforward practicality. After two years working with students from elementary to CEGEP levels, I've found that direct, personalized instruction works best. Each lesson ends with a review to lock in key concepts.
My own academic journey included struggling with focus issues, yet I managed to excel (with a final grade superior to 100) in challenging courses like organic chemistry. This experience taught me practical strategies that I share with students facing similar challenges. My current internship in UdeM's Neurosciences Department and previous neuropsychology coursework have sparked my interest in effective learning techniques.
