About Donna

With over twenty years of tutoring experience, my approach is built on a strong commitment to my students' success and a genuine passion for helping them reach their full potential. I believe every learner is capable of growth when given the right support, encouragement, and tools. I begin each tutoring relationship by getting to know the student—their goals, learning style, and current challenges. About the lesson

My tutoring approach is centred on understanding each student’s unique learning style, goals, and challenges. I begin by assessing their current level and tailoring a customised learning plan that builds on their strengths while addressing areas for improvement. I emphasise a supportive and encouraging environment, where students feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes. My sessions are interactive, and I adapt my explanations and pace to suit each student’s needs. Whether I’m helping someone master a concept, prepare for an exam, or build study skills, I prioritise clarity, confidence, and long-term understanding over rote memorisation. I regularly check progress through informal assessments, feedback, and open conversation, ensuring that each session brings us closer to the student’s goals.
