About Jessica
I am a qualified and experienced teacher with a proven track record of helping children succeed in English and Maths. As the Phonics and English Lead at my previous school, I specialise in supporting children to build strong literacy foundations, develop confident reading and writing skills, and enjoy learning. I am also trained in Maths Mastery for KS1 and Lower KS2, giving me the expertise to teach both English and Maths effectively. Over the years, I have taught children from ages 3 to 16, including those preparing for the 4+, 7+, and 11+ entrance exams, and those who need extra support or challenge. I tailor every lesson to the individual child, breaking learning into small, manageable steps, and using engaging strategies to build both skills and confidence. Qualifications & Experience: -Qualified teacher and Phonics and English Lead, with years of experience supporting children across primary and early secondary. -Trained in Maths Mastery for KS1 and Lower KS2, enabling me to deliver structured, effective Maths tuition alongside English. -Skilled and experienced in preparing children for 4+, 7+, and 11+ entrance exams, including verbal and non-verbal reasoning. -Experienced in teaching children aged 4–16, including those with additional needs such as dyslexia and anxiety.
