About Kyle
I am a Welsh student at the University of Cambridge, where I completed my BA in Philosophy and am now studying History and Philosophy of Science (HPS) at Part III level.
I have a strong academic background, achieving Two A*s and two As at A level and 8 A*s at GCSE. My experience at Cambridge has given me a deep understanding of the demands of competitive academic study, as well as a particular interest in philosophy, essay writing, critical thinking and the humanities.
As a tutor, I aim to make challenging material clear, engaging and accessible. I can support students with subject knowledge, essay structure, argumentation, exam technique and building the confidence to approach difficult questions independently.
Having progressed through the UK education system myself and now studying at Cambridge, I can also offer guidance to students who are considering applying to Oxbridge or other highly competitive universities.

I do online tutoring lessons typically 30 minutes to one hour in length. Depending on the subject area, I will prepare practice questions that I will send out to students, and subsequently read outside of lessons free of charge.
I welcome students from GCSE level sciences and humanities, all the way up to undergraduates interested in Philosophy and Formal Logic. As for A level subjects, I have experience tutoring students in Biology, Physics, History, and Religious Studies.
I have extensive experience regarding personal statement writing and also Oxbridge admissions, which I also offer tutoring packages for.
Having completed my undergraduate degree in Philosophy, and achieving A*s in A level Physics and Biology, I am well prepared to tutor such subjects to an advanced level.
