About Erika
My name is Erika- I am from New York, and have been teaching here for 12 years. I have taught early childhood using the Reggio Emilia method with ages 3-5, as well as art education from a kindergarten level up through high school. However, I have a special interest in language and learning styles, as I come from both parents and grandparents who are linguists. I am a curious and compassionate teacher, enthusiastic about geography, travel, language, and art.

In our lessons, we spend time chatting and catching up, while I offer useful catchphrases to help you describe your weekend. Then, we will check out an article to read and search for new phrases. We will do some activities corresponding to it, and then check out some art or a video to practice descriptive language. I have a big personality and sense of humor, so get ready to have fun and enjoy the process.
