About Charlottea
Teaching French keeps me connected to my roots while I navigate my life as an international student in Australia. Although I initially focused on my degree at Melbourne Uni, I realized that sharing my native language was the most effective way to utilize my time. Over 13 years of experience, I have supported 150 students through the hurdles of writing skills and reading comprehension.
I find that focusing on the technical side of accent and intonation allows me to help teens and kids progress quickly. My practice involves a heavy emphasis on idioms and expressions as well as practical everyday phrases for beginners. I have seen how much intermediate learners struggle with simple pronunciation, so I aim to break those barriers down early.
The rhythm of the language is something I share with every person I meet. I am quite happy to continue working this way.

Our sessions feel like a natural conversation between friends. Language learning is a living thing. When we focus on role play and dialogue practice, I draw on the formal structures I learned during my degree at Melbourne Uni to ensure you avoid common pitfalls.
My 13 years of experience allows me to simplify complex grammar into manageable pieces for kids and teens. We spend significant time on pronunciation and accent, as this is the foundation of clear communication for intermediate learners. I utilize DELF and DALF preparation materials to give our sessions a clear direction and purpose.
Every exercise is designed to build your confidence through consistent and structured interaction. I look forward to seeing you reach your objectives.
