I have recently graduated with a MSc Forensic Psychology & Crime, and have BSc (Hons) Psychological Sciences. I also have A-levels in Psychology, Sociology, History and Economics. I have recently decided to change careers and become a Psychology teacher. I will be attending college in September to complete my Diploma in Education and Teaching, which will result in me being a qualified teacher. I chose this career, and therefore tutoring, because I really enjoy my subject areas and working with students to help them achieve. Hopefully, they do well and enjoy it as much as me!
I really enjoy my subjects, and would hope to pass on some of this enthusiasm. I believe in being patient and working with students individually, as sometimes all that's needed is a sounding board. I aim to enable all students to realise their strengths and feel like they are capable and can achieve their goals. For areas that are complicated, I break them down and go through it one step at a time, at a pace that suits the student. I use different methods depending on the students, and will work with them to find what suits them.
