About Rickeena
I have two bachelor's degrees in Communications and Black Studies from Saint Louis University and a master's degree in Teaching from Fordham University. My professional experience includes a four-year journalism career as an education reporter for a daily newspaper, and a seven-year career teaching middle school in New York City. My teaching background includes everything from special education, to English Language arts to math for the 6th through 8th grades, though my specialties are 6th and 7th grade Common Core math.
