About Ronald
I am a piano teacher who has literally had hundreds of students over the last 36 years and have seen many go on to student at Douglas Anderson which is an incredible arts school. I have also taught class piano lessons for the past few years but prefer to do individual private lessons. I have actually gotten to the point where I am teaching the children of the children I taught 36 years ago which just does my heart so much good.

I seriously like to incorporate music theory into my lessons because I understand how important it is for a student to understand what they are doing and it is like a language that they are speaking on the piano and it just has so much more meaning when a student can understand what they are doing. I also completely emphasize memorizing pieces which can only be so wonderful to be able to play all your favorite pieces from memory
