About Pirdaus
I have been teaching English for over 5 years. Two years of teaching at the National plus School in Batam and 3 years of teaching IELTS in one of the top education consultants in Jakarta.
One thing I learned from this experience is that most Indonesian students learn English using a translation method, by which they have to memorize complicated grammar rules and vocabularies. This approach has proven to be not effective and not fun. However, from this experience, I have found the most effective way to teach English where students learn the language naturally.
Now, I dedicate my time teaching English online, especially IELTS. I have started this job after resigning from my previous employment, and I have never felt more excited to do what I am passionate to do, which is teaching English.

In general, I put more emphasis on natural English learning techniques such as native speakers, without translating in my head. This is usually realized by a lot of drilling, especially for speaking and listening to more content in English or watching films in English. The duration of the course is adjusted to the needs of students and each face-to-face is 2 hours or adjusted. I can teach students from beginner to advanced level and applies to all ages.
