About Natalie
I am a qualified teacher with a passion for supporting all of my students to reach their full potential. Before completing my teacher training, I worked in a Reception class, where I supported young children with early reading, phonics, writing, and maths skills. This experience helped me develop a strong understanding of early years education and the importance of building a solid foundation for future learning.
For the past two years, I have worked closely with autistic students, gaining valuable experience in creating inclusive and supportive learning environments. I am trained in Makaton up to Level 4, which has helped me communicate more effectively and build strong relationships with the students that use different communication methods.
I also take an active role in updating all of my students’ EHCPs to ensure their targets are relevant, achievable, and fully support their progress. This helps me make sure I’m meeting each child’s needs so they can reach their full potential. I am committed, patient, and always strive to adapt my teaching to suit the individual needs of every learner.
