I have a background in cybersecurity, where I handle tasks like managing incident tickets, detecting malicious activity, and analyzing data. Over the years, I’ve worked on complex IT projects and coordinated efforts with various teams, which taught me the importance of communication and precision. One of my most valuable experiences was leading a project that improved the company’s incident response time by streamlining processes, something I’m particularly proud of.

I’m excited to share some of my experience in cybersecurity, IT, and data analytics as we start this course. Over the years, I’ve worked extensively in cybersecurity, detecting threats, analyzing data for malicious activities, and managing incident response processes. This hands-on experience has shown me how critical it is to protect digital systems, anticipate security risks, and stay ahead of emerging cyber threats.
In addition to cybersecurity, I’ve also handled a wide range of IT-related tasks, from troubleshooting technical problems to managing complex technology projects. This background in IT will help guide our discussions on computer science and information systems, making real-world connections to the material we’ll cover.
Data analytics is another core aspect of my work, and I frequently use tools like Power BI to analyze and visualize data, uncover trends, and support decision-making. My work with data includes everything from creating advanced formulas in Excel to analyzing large datasets for actionable insights. You’ll find these skills essential as we explore how data impacts various IT fields.
For our class, expect assignments that require both critical thinking and practical application in these areas. My goal is to help you develop the ability to analyze problems from multiple angles, especially in cybersecurity, IT challenges, and data analysis.
