About Kon
With 13 years of tutoring experience, I am passionate about teaching Guitar and helping High School and College students discover their musical potential. I have successfully taught around 300-350 students, and this has been one of the most meaningful milestones in my career. Every student I have worked with has helped me grow as an educator and has strengthened my belief in the power of patient and encouraging teaching.
I believe learning Guitar should be enjoyable, practical, and inspiring. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes, practice freely, and develop confidence. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adjust my lessons according to their abilities, interests, and personal goals.
My lessons cover important Guitar skills such as chords, scales, rhythm, strumming patterns, finger techniques, music theory, song learning, and performance skills. I explain each concept in simple steps and use practical exercises to help students understand how the techniques work. I also encourage students to practice songs they enjoy because connecting lessons with their favorite music can make learning more motivating.
Teaching 300-350 students during my 13 year career has been a significant achievement. It has given me the opportunity to work with beginners as well as students who already have some musical experience. Seeing students improve their skills, overcome difficulties, and confidently play songs has been one of the greatest rewards of my teaching journey.
I encourage my students to understand that progress takes time. When they face difficulties, I help them break the challenge into smaller steps. I celebrate their improvements and motivate them to continue practicing instead of becoming discouraged by mistakes.
For me, education is not only about teaching information. It is about helping students become confident, disciplined, creative, and independent learners. Guitar provides a wonderful way to develop these qualities while enjoying music.
My passion for teaching continues to grow with every student I meet. I want every lesson to leave students feeling motivated and excited to practice. My goal is to inspire more young learners to enjoy Guitar, express themselves through music, and confidently work toward their musical dreams.

My Guitar teaching methodology is interactive, goal-oriented, and personalized. I believe students learn Guitar more effectively when they understand their purpose and can apply every new skill to real music.
I begin by communicating with each student about their current ability, musical interests, preferred learning style, and goals. This helps me create lessons that are suitable for beginners, intermediate learners, or students who want to develop advanced skills.
Communication helps me build a comfortable learning environment. I explain difficult concepts in simple English and encourage students to ask questions, share their challenges, and give feedback about their learning experience.
I strongly focus on adaptation to learning styles. I use demonstrations, chord diagrams, listening activities, written explanations, repetition, and hands-on practice. I adjust the pace and teaching method when a student needs more time or a different explanation.
I use real-life examples and case studies from songs and musical situations. For example, students learn how chord progressions are used in songwriting, how rhythm supports a band, how scales are used for solos, and how guitarists prepare for performances. This makes technical learning more meaningful.
My Guitar curriculum includes chords, strumming, rhythm, picking, fingerstyle, scales, lead guitar, improvisation, ear training, music theory, songwriting, and performance preparation. I can also support students with Music Theory, Ear Training, Songwriting, Music Appreciation, Rhythm Training, and Basic Performance Skills.
I divide learning into small goals and monitor progress regularly. I provide positive and useful feedback so students know what to improve.
My goal is to make Guitar lessons engaging and practical while helping students become confident, creative, disciplined, and independent musicians.
