Fun weekly experiments, real science skills, and confidence-building with a certified teacher. Perfect for curious learners!
Does your child love experiments, building things, mixing ingredients, or figuring out how the world works?
I’m Nicole — a certified science teacher with 21 years of classroom experience teaching Grades K-12.
I specialize in hands-on, engaging, and confidence-building science lessons that students actually look forward to.
In this weekly Hands-On Science Lab, your learner will:
Complete a real science experiment each week (using simple household materials)
learn the “why” behind phenomena — not just the steps
make predictions, test ideas, and analyze results
improve science vocabulary & communication
build lab skills and scientific thinking
boost confidence with success they can see and touch
I create a warm, positive, encouraging space where kids feel safe to ask questions, explore ideas, and have FUN with science.
WHAT WE DO (Example Weekly Labs)
Experiments rotate through chemistry, physics, earth science, and biology:
To give you an idea of topics
• Chemical reactions: lava lamps, volcanoes, fizz rockets
• Density: rainbow jars, floating eggs, layering liquids
• Forces & motion: balloon rockets, parachutes, catapults
• Electricity: simple circuits, static electricity challenges
• States of matter: Oobleck, ice science, melting points
• Earth science: weather stations, erosion demos, crystals
• Biology: cells, ecosystems, adaptations, mini dissections (paper-based or virtual)
All activities use safe, affordable household items.
