About Erin
I'm Erin, I'm 18 years old, I come from Paris where I learned guitar when I was 8. I moved to England last year for my studies at the University of Warwick.
One of the reasons I chose to move to England is simply to get closer to the heart of Rock 'n' Roll!
I met people and formed a band last year, I performed several times and played small concerts at University that I really enjoyed!
I am also working on songs myself, I am writing texts and guitar parts.
I've learned electric guitar with a strong Rock influence with artists such as ACDC, The Roling Stones, Jeff Buckley, U2, Lenny Kravitz, RHCP, John Mayer, Aerosmith and more!
However those past few years I have been enjoying more acoustic versions of Pop/ Pop Rock artists such as Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, Finneas, Coldplay, Radiohead, Eric Clapton...
I love to switch from acoustic songs to electric guitar solos!

Learning how to play guitar as a beginner is a real commitment and I will be happy to support you during this new adventure!
I do not teach music theory, I have not learned this way and I firmly believe that it is not the only way to do it.
For total beginners, I will start with the basics of guitar: chords, small riffs, how to read tablatures (not music sheets), rhythm... Then, I will approach every lesson with a song (of your choice), I will help you to learn it, show and explain the chords and riffs, we will practice it together and go back to it the next time to see the progress!
I will always provide the song's tab so you can practice on your own in between.
While music theory always seems essential, I reckon that visible results are more satisfactory. There is nothing more frustrating than feeling like you don't progress, and I am here to make sure you never feel like this.
At the end of every lesson I have had with my guitar teacher, I have always felt like a new challenge had just been presented to me and that i had to face it with determination!
Listening and working on a song that you love to end up playing along is a feeling that beats everything else. You can trust me ;)
