About Jorge
I learned to play guitar at 16 years old, now, at 31, I would like to teach the wonderfulness of the instrument to more people. I have seen various guitar courses over the years, but I always find the same kind of details that I think complicate learning. For a long time I have given private lessons to some acquaintances, with whom I have been defining the method that seems best to me to teach to play the guitar.

I like to combine theory with practice, but starting with things that I think many teachers overlook, that usually start with things like memorizing chords, but how is a student going to find something attractive in memorizing names and numbers just starting out? in an art whose main attraction is to be able to transmit feelings regardless of the language of whoever listens to it? How will you want to continue learning if you are struggling with the change of position between chord and chord? I think the best thing is first to give the tools for the student to connect to the instrument and for their hands to know it well enough so that later they can name what they know, as when a baby learns to write what they already know how to say verbally.
