About Matteo
With more than 5 years of experience, I specialise in teaching Guitar to college students who want clear and structured lessons. I focus on helping students learn guitar without stress and with real progress.
My teaching style is calm, patient, and organised. I break down difficult techniques into simple steps so students can understand and apply them easily. I believe strong basics are the key to long-term improvement.
I use innovative methods such as song-based learning, guided practice schedules, and focused technique drills. Students improve chord transitions, rhythm control, and finger strength through step-by-step exercises. I also use play-along tracks to build timing and confidence.
Music theory is taught in a simple and useful way, directly connected to guitar playing. I also introduce ear training and improvisation to help students become more confident musicians.
I believe encouragement and regular practice lead to success. My goal is to help college students enjoy guitar learning and grow into independent players.

I teach Guitar with a methodology that emphasises creativity, mentorship, critical thinking, and accountability. I believe learning music should be both enjoyable and empowering. Lessons encourage students to improvise, compose, and experiment with different musical styles, helping them develop a unique sound.
Critical thinking is a core part of my approach. I guide students to understand chord progressions, scales, and rhythm patterns, enabling them to analyse songs, improvise, and solve musical challenges independently.
I also emphasise accountability. I help students set clear goals, practise regularly, and track progress. Feedback and encouragement build confidence and motivation, making learning consistent and rewarding.
In addition to Guitar, I teach music theory, songwriting, ear training, and performance skills. Lessons are customised for each student’s pace, level, and interests, creating a meaningful and fun experience.
My goal is to mentor students into independent, creative musicians who can play, compose, and express themselves with confidence.
