About Mila
My journey with guitar began with a fascination for melody, rhythm, and musical storytelling. I completed a B.Mus in Guitar Performance and Music Education, which strengthened both my performance technique and pedagogical approach. Over 10 years of teaching, I have guided learners at all levels, supporting them in developing technical skill, expressive ability, and performance confidence. I believe guitar teaching should be encouraging, patient, and adaptable. Many learners face challenges with coordination, timing, or expression, so I focus on clear guidance, step-by-step instructions, and gradual improvement. Lessons are personalized to suit each student’s pace, goals, and musical preferences. Outside teaching, I continue exploring music through performance, composition, and genre study. Teaching guitar is deeply fulfilling because I witness learners transform skill into expressive artistry, gaining confidence and independence as musicians. Supporting their musical journey is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

Guitar lessons are most effective when students combine technical skill with creative expression. My lessons focus on chord transitions, fingerstyle technique, scales, rhythm control, strumming patterns, and repertoire interpretation. I emphasize understanding how technical mastery enhances musical expression, allowing students to perform confidently and creatively. Lessons are structured, supportive, and designed to help learners progress steadily while enjoying the instrument.
Lesson content is tailored to each learner’s level. Beginners work on posture, basic chords, rhythm patterns, and simple melodies. Intermediate learners focus on dexterity, barre chords, melodic phrasing, and scale application. Advanced learners explore improvisation, advanced repertoire, stylistic interpretation, and performance preparation. Each session includes exercises, guided practice, and individualized feedback to reinforce learning.
Guitar lessons also promote creativity, patience, and confidence. Students gain self-assurance as they develop musical independence and expressive skills. My goal is to help learners enjoy playing guitar while building both technical proficiency and artistic confidence.
