About Mia
I am a guitar tutor with 12 years of teaching experience and a PhD in Guitar Education. Over the years, I have worked with students of various ages and skill levels, helping them develop both technical ability and artistic confidence. Teaching allows me to combine my love of music with my passion for education.
My approach focuses on balancing technique, creativity, and practical musicianship. I encourage students to understand music deeply while developing skills they can use confidently in performance and practice. Every learner receives support tailored to their individual goals.
I believe music has the power to inspire growth, discipline, and self-expression. Helping students achieve meaningful progress while enjoying the learning process is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work. I look forward to guiding learners as they continue their musical development.

My guitar lessons focus on helping students build strong technical foundations while exploring their creativity as musicians. I use practical exercises, musical examples, and step-by-step instruction that make learning clear and enjoyable. Every lesson is designed to encourage steady growth and confidence.
Students develop skills in rhythm playing, fingerstyle techniques, chord transitions, solo construction, tone shaping, ear training, and stage preparation. I break complex topics into manageable parts so learners can understand and apply new concepts effectively. Lessons are always adapted to personal goals and experience levels.
I enjoy helping students gain confidence in their playing while discovering their own musical style. Regular feedback and personalized guidance help learners stay motivated and continue improving. My goal is to make every guitar lesson productive, inspiring, and enjoyable.
