About Anouke
I am a committed Guitar tutor with 3 years of teaching experience, and during this time I have had the privilege of teaching around 300 students from High School, College, and adult backgrounds. My passion for music and my belief in the power of learning have shaped the way I teach and guide my students. I enjoy helping learners grow step by step, and I make sure every lesson is designed to build confidence and strong musical skills. My teaching philosophy is simple: when students feel supported, they learn faster and enjoy the journey more. I focus heavily on the basics because I believe that a strong foundation helps students progress smoothly. I teach techniques such as chord transitions, finger positioning, strumming patterns, rhythm control, and melody playing. I also introduce easy music theory so students understand how notes, chords, and scales work together. This gives them the ability to learn new songs on their own in the future. One of my proudest achievements is seeing my students perform at school functions, college events, small concerts, and even family gatherings. Many of them started as complete beginners and gradually learned to express themselves through music. Watching their confidence grow inspires me to keep improving my teaching methods. I design each lesson based on the student’s goals—whether they want to play soft acoustic music, learn fingerstyle, understand lead techniques, or simply play their favourite songs. I create a friendly learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new skills. My aim is to help every learner connect with music, enjoy the process, and discover their full potential as guitarists.

My teaching approach for Guitar focuses on strong communication and flexible teaching methods that support every type of learner. I believe that music becomes easier when taught with clarity and real-life relevance, so I connect each lesson to practical musical situations. I introduce students to basic guitar skills such as hand positioning, chord formation, rhythm awareness, and strumming technique. As they progress, we explore scales, improvisation, tone control, fingerstyle playing, and genre-specific sounds. I use real-life examples from songs and performances to explain each concept clearly. I also share simple case studies about how guitarists apply techniques creatively. Along with Guitar, I teach related subjects like Basic Music Theory, Ear Training, Chord Building, Rhythm Studies, Songwriting Elements, and Notation Reading. These subjects help students understand the full structure of music, not just the instrument. Communication is an essential part of my teaching. I listen to each student’s goals and adjust lessons based on their learning style. Whether a student learns best through visual aids, auditory explanations, or hands-on practice, I design lessons to fit their needs. Each session includes practice tasks, feedback, and achievable goals. I guide students step by step, helping them grow in technique, creativity, and confidence. My aim is to make guitar learning enjoyable, meaningful, and supportive for all students.
