About Brian
I have degrees in Science, Education, and Philosophy and have been playing guitar daily for over 14 years (just starting to get really good!). I know more than enough theory to be "dangerous"!!! Playing music in front of people is a great challenge, but full of rewards!

I like to start with your goals and then provide structure and focus starting from basic focus on sound techniques, up to song composition theory. I focus on learning and writing songs and expanding technique and basic facility by combining basic theory with focused practice. I am more focused on the intrinsic rewards of learning and mastering an instrument than the purely extrinsic ones.
