About Savannah
My interest in guitar began through admiration for live performance, songwriting, and expressive musical storytelling. This passion inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Contemporary Guitar Performance, where I explored technique development, musical interpretation, and creative artistry in greater depth. Over the past 6 years, I have guided students through lessons that feel motivating, supportive, and creatively inspiring.
I believe every learner deserves lessons that match their confidence level, personality, and musical goals. My teaching philosophy focuses on patience, healthy technique, and musical expression because every student develops differently. Some learners improve through structured exercises and repetition, while others gain confidence through improvisation and creative exploration. I carefully adapt lessons to create a positive environment where learners feel consistently encouraged.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring different music genres, composition techniques, and live performance traditions to keep my lessons meaningful and fresh. Staying connected to music helps me bring artistic creativity and practical performance ideas into lessons. I want students to improve not only technically but also emotionally through stronger confidence and self-expression. Helping learners discover individuality and musical creativity through guitar remains one of the most rewarding parts of my teaching experience.

My guitar lessons focus on helping students develop strong technical ability while building confidence in musical expression. I teach chord transitions, rhythm patterns, fingerstyle techniques, improvisation, lead guitar skills, tone control, and expressive phrasing using methods that make learning feel approachable and enjoyable. Lessons are designed to help students understand music practically instead of memorizing shapes and exercises without purpose. I create a supportive atmosphere where learners feel comfortable improving steadily through guided practice and creative exploration.
Every lesson is personalized according to the learner’s confidence level, musical interests, and long-term goals. Beginners receive patient support with hand coordination, rhythm exercises, and basic chord progressions, while advanced learners strengthen solo phrasing, improvisation, and stage confidence. I include listening activities, songwriting exercises, ear training, and performance preparation methods that help students improve naturally over time. Students preparing for recitals or live performances receive additional support with organized practice routines and confidence-building.
I believe guitar becomes more meaningful when students feel emotionally connected to the music they play. My lessons aim to replace frustration with enjoyment through supportive explanation and steady encouragement. Many learners gradually become more expressive, disciplined, and creatively confident as their understanding improves steadily. My goal is to help students build strong musical foundations while developing confidence and artistic freedom that support lifelong musical growth.
