About Tess
I have 7 years of experience teaching guitar and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance. During my teaching journey, I have helped students improve technique, musical understanding, and performance confidence. Watching learners grow into confident musicians continues to motivate me.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes flexibility, patience, and practical learning. I believe every student benefits from lessons that are tailored to their individual needs and aspirations. Building confidence is an important part of every learning experience.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy composing music, performing with other musicians, and studying different guitar styles. These experiences enrich my teaching and help me bring fresh perspectives into lessons. I am committed to helping students enjoy music while achieving their goals.

My guitar lessons are designed to help students develop practical skills while enjoying the creative side of music. We focus on rhythm control, chord transitions, fingerstyle techniques, picking accuracy, fretboard knowledge, and musical expression through structured learning activities. Every lesson supports steady improvement and growing confidence.
Students work through technical exercises, song studies, ear-training activities, improvisation challenges, and performance preparation. I encourage learners to understand the ideas behind what they play rather than relying only on repetition. Lessons are adapted to individual interests and goals.
I enjoy helping students discover their musical strengths while overcoming challenges with confidence. Through clear instruction and supportive guidance, learners become more independent and capable musicians. My goal is to make every lesson engaging, productive, and inspiring.
