About Elise
I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance after developing a deep interest in live performance, songwriting, and instrumental expression during my musical journey. During the past 8 years, I have taught students with different backgrounds and experience levels, helping them strengthen both technical ability and musical confidence through supportive instruction. Teaching guitar allows me to combine creativity, communication, and mentorship in a very rewarding way. I enjoy helping students discover that music can become a powerful form of personal expression.
My teaching style focuses on adaptability, encouragement, and practical learning. Some students respond best to structured technical exercises, while others improve more naturally through creative experimentation and musical exploration. I carefully adjust lessons according to each learner’s personality, goals, and comfort level. Along with technical development, I help students strengthen listening skills, rhythm awareness, improvisation confidence, and expressive performance ability. Building a calm and motivating learning environment is always important to me.
Outside teaching, I continue practicing guitar, studying different musical styles, and exploring new creative projects that help me grow as a musician. Music remains an important part of my daily life because it encourages creativity, discipline, and emotional connection. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is watching students become more independent and confident in their playing over time. Helping learners enjoy music while developing lasting skills continues to inspire me greatly.

My guitar lessons focus on helping students enjoy music while building strong technical and creative foundations. I teach rhythm control, chord progressions, finger exercises, tone shaping, and strumming techniques through practical and engaging activities that feel approachable for all skill levels. Lessons also include solo phrasing, bending, vibrato control, and expressive playing exercises that help students connect emotionally with music. I use real musical examples and interactive learning methods to keep lessons enjoyable and motivating. Every session encourages steady improvement and confidence-building.
Beginners learn tuning, posture, chord shapes, and rhythm basics through patient and organized guidance. Intermediate learners improve fingerstyle coordination, timing accuracy, improvisation confidence, and smoother transitions between techniques. Advanced students focus on expressive solo work, performance preparation, stage confidence, and stronger musical interpretation. I carefully adjust lessons according to each student’s pace and musical interests so learning remains balanced and encouraging throughout the process. Students receive clear support during every stage of development.
Learning guitar should feel exciting and personally meaningful. I create a positive environment where students can experiment, make mistakes comfortably, and enjoy their musical progress without pressure. Many learners become more expressive, creative, and confident as their skills continue improving over time. My goal is to help students develop strong guitar abilities while also discovering their individual musical voice. Every lesson supports creativity, consistency, and long-term enjoyment of music.
