About Jay
Jay is an experienced electric guitarist and a solo acoustic guitar/ singer performer. He has taught guitar for over 10 years to students of all ages from 6 years and abilities. He has experience of teaching neurodivergent students including ADHD and ASD as well as older adults who want to get back into music after a break. Jay is an understanding, patient teacher who enjoys helping students find their musical passion, overcome anxiety and develop the confidence to perform live. He integrates musical theory and grade exams where helpful.

Jay teaches acoustic and electric guitar online using Zoom, across a range of styles from metal to pop and can help with:
* Chords and accompaniment
* Lead guitar and improvisation
* Music theory
* Playing by ear
* Grade preparation
Lessons are either half an hour or an hour duration on Monday to Friday from 2pm to 7pm.
