About Niva
My passion for guitar began through listening to live performances and exploring different styles of music during my teenage years. This interest inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Contemporary Music, where I developed skills in performance, composition, and musical interpretation. During the past 9 years, I have taught students from different musical backgrounds while helping them build confidence and technical ability through supportive instruction.
I believe music education should feel inspiring, creative, and adaptable to every learner’s personality and goals. My teaching style focuses on practical playing, patient guidance, and interactive learning methods that help students grow comfortably at their own pace. I encourage learners to ask questions openly and experiment creatively because confidence develops naturally through exploration and regular practice.
Outside teaching, I enjoy songwriting, live performance sessions, and exploring different genres of music from around the world. Staying connected to music creatively helps me bring fresh energy and inspiration into lessons. Teaching guitar is deeply rewarding because I enjoy helping students discover their musical voice and personal confidence. My goal is always to support learners in becoming expressive, skilled, and passionate musicians.

My guitar lessons focus on helping students enjoy music while building strong technical foundations and creative confidence. I teach chords, strumming patterns, fingerstyle techniques, rhythm control, improvisation, and song performance in a relaxed and encouraging environment. Students learn through practical playing exercises that make music feel engaging and enjoyable from the beginning. Every session encourages creativity, experimentation, and steady improvement.
Lessons are personalized according to the student’s experience level and musical interests. Beginners focus on posture, chord transitions, rhythm exercises, and basic melodies, while advanced learners work on solo phrasing, improvisation, advanced techniques, and stage preparation. I include play-along exercises, ear training, and guided practice sessions because active playing helps students improve naturally and confidently over time. Students are encouraged to explore different musical styles and develop their own artistic voice.
I aim to create a comfortable atmosphere where students feel motivated to express themselves through music without fear of mistakes. Many learners begin feeling nervous about performance or technique, so I focus on building confidence gradually through supportive guidance and consistent practice. Over time, students improve musical understanding, timing, and creative expression naturally. Guitar becomes much more meaningful when learners connect emotionally with the music they create and perform.
