About Rayna
I am a guitar tutor with 8 years of experience and a background in B.Mus Guitar Performance and M.Mus in Contemporary Music Studies. I have guided learners of all levels, from beginners mastering chords and basic technique to advanced performers preparing for recitals, recordings, and ensemble collaborations. My teaching philosophy emphasizes a balance of technical mastery and expressive development, ensuring students grow musically and creatively. I tailor lessons to individual goals, abilities, and interests, fostering engagement, curiosity, and confidence in musical performance.
I focus on helping students develop technique, musicality, improvisation skills, and performance readiness. I provide guidance on developing solo phrasing, improvisation, musical storytelling, and stage presence. Lessons also prepare students for performances, recitals, and collaborations, focusing on confidence, accuracy, and self-expression.
