About Madison
Sometimes I admit that the best way to learn is to embrace the groove before worrying about the technical perfection. We spend our time exploring improvisation techniques and music theory in a way that feels organic rather than academic. Whether you are a total beginner or an advanced player, I ensure the music remains at the center of our work. My degree of experience allows me to pivot between coaching kids on fingerpicking and refining the technique of self-taught players.
We often bridge these styles with bolero rhythms or complex flamenco patterns to keep the energy high. Every session serves as a gateway into the rich musical traditions that defined my own development. My approach ensures that the path forward feels natural and surprisingly fun.

I find that integrating theory with blues progressions creates a solid foundation for any songwriter or advanced player. These traditions of bolero, flamenco, and chacarera form the backbone of my pedagogical approach to music.
