About Sona
My passion for guitar began through exploring live music performances and experimenting with melodies during my teenage years. This fascination inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Music, a Master’s Degree in Instrumental Performance, and later a PhD in Modern Music Performance. During the past 12 years, I have worked with students from different musical backgrounds while helping them improve confidence and technical skill through supportive teaching methods.
I believe music education should feel inspiring, creative, and adaptable to every learner’s personality and goals. My teaching style focuses on practical playing, patient instruction, and expressive exploration that allows students to improve naturally while developing strong musical foundations. I encourage learners to ask questions openly and experiment creatively because confidence develops best through participation and consistent musical practice.
Outside teaching, I enjoy recording original compositions, performing live acoustic sessions, and studying different musical traditions and playing styles. Staying connected to music creatively helps me bring fresh inspiration and energy into lessons regularly. Teaching guitar is deeply rewarding because I enjoy helping students discover confidence and individuality through music. My goal is always to support learners in becoming expressive, skilled, and passionate musicians.

My guitar lessons focus on helping students develop strong technical ability while enjoying the creative process of making music. I teach rhythm control, chord movement, fingerstyle playing, improvisation, ear training, and melodic phrasing in a supportive environment where learners can improve confidently at their own pace. Students learn how musical technique and emotional expression work together naturally through guided practice and creative exploration. Every lesson encourages patience, consistency, and personal artistic growth.
Lessons are carefully adapted according to each student’s level and musical goals. Beginners focus on posture, rhythm exercises, simple chord progressions, and melody playing, while advanced learners work on solo phrasing, advanced finger techniques, improvisation, and performance preparation. I include listening activities, guided repetition, and interactive practice sessions regularly because active playing strengthens both understanding and confidence effectively. Students receive supportive feedback that helps them improve steadily without feeling pressured or discouraged.
I aim to create a relaxed atmosphere where students feel comfortable exploring music creatively and building confidence through practice. Many learners begin feeling uncertain about performance or technical challenges, so I focus on achievable progress and encouraging guidance. Over time, students improve coordination, musicality, and expressive confidence naturally. Guitar becomes much more rewarding when learners discover their own sound and develop a meaningful connection with music.
