About Amy
I'm Amy. I'm a Chinese-Kiwi guitarist, singer-songwriter, and producer, performing under the artist name, Raging Flowers.
I'm a DIY artist, which means I write the songs, play all instrument in my recordings, and produce the songs myself. My music has been played by radio stations in NZ, Australia, Canada, USA, UK, and Singapore. One of my songs also appeared on the NZ RadioScope Airplay Charts in April 2024.
I'm passionate about music. I believe music is a great way to get in touch with our feelings, care for ourselves, and brighten up your day. In the world of music, we can be exactly who we are, feel however we like, and feel connected even when the time is rough. I'm especially passionate about helping people with their emotional struggles through the power of music.

I offer lessons for all levels in acoustic and electric guitar, as well as beginners to intermediate lessons in singing, song-writing, and music production.
I can help you unlock your guitar skills, boost your confidence, and discover your creativity.
I work well with kids from 5 year old, as well as adult beginners. I am patient and able to keep the lessons engaging. I pay attention to your techniques, so you can perform with ease and safety.
My main instrument is electric guitar. I can introduce you to various styles of music, including rock, blues, country, jazz, and pop music. If interested, I'd also love to introduce you to improvisation and songwriting, as well as music theory and ear training.
For singing, I offer beginners lessons in contemporary singing. my approach is more fun-based. I believe singing is great for our wellbeing. I will help you develop singing techniques so you can sing safely with confidence.
For song-writing and music production lessons, please have a chat with me to discuss where you are in the process and if I can help you.
I offer lessons in East and Central Auckland. For other regions, please get in touch!
