About Renata

My name is Renata Carlomagno, I am Brazilian and currently living in Scotland. I have been working professionally in theatre continuously since 2011. Since 2015, I have developed my path as an actress and physical theatre researcher, specialising in body awareness, movement, and expressive techniques. My artistic experience has given me a deep understanding of posture, coordination, energy, and how the body moves, which I bring into my approach to fitness and exercise.

Recently, I have also begun studying Physical Education, expanding my knowledge of structured training, exercise science, and safe movement techniques. Combining my artistic and educational background, I am able to guide students in effective, mindful, and enjoyable workouts, focusing on beginners who want to improve strength, mobility, and overall health.

I am passionate about creating a supportive and encouraging environment, helping students build confidence, discover their potential, and enjoy the process of getting active.

In my online classes, I guide students who are just starting their fitness journey, providing support, instruction, and encouragement throughout each session. These workouts are ideal for people who don’t feel comfortable in a gym, need a gentle push to get started, or want to lose weight, get active, and improve overall health. Each session lasts 15 to 40 minutes, gradually progressing up to an hour, helping the student build strength, endurance, and confidence at a comfortable pace.

My approach draws on my experience as an actress and physical theatre researcher, where I developed a deep understanding of the body, posture, movement, and energy. I have also recently begun studying Physical Education, combining artistic body awareness with structured exercise techniques to make workouts safe, effective, and enjoyable.

I act as a motivator and guide, creating a supportive and welcoming environment where the student feels comfortable exploring their abilities and gradually discovering their physical potential. These classes are designed exclusively for beginners, helping each student gain confidence, strengthen muscles, and establish a positive fitness habit.
