About Matthew
As a musician and dedicated educator, I strive to create lessons that are both structured and encouraging. I work carefully with each student’s individual goals, whether they are preparing for exams, improving fundamentals, or simply building confidence with the instrument.
My teaching emphasizes strong musicianship, disciplined practice habits, and a clear fundamental foundation while maintaining an engaging and supportive learning environment. I believe a patient, thoughtful, and encouraging instructor is essential to one's long-term progress.

I believe there is no one-size-fits-all teaching method. Whether you're a beginner that just picked up the instrument, preparing for exams, or simply just looking for enjoyment, I aim to create an engaging and supportive environment for my students. My multi-instrument background also gave me a broader understanding of musicianship, phrasing, and ensemble roles.
