About Filip
I am currently a final year medical student at Griffith University living in the Gold Coast. I achieved a section II score of 77 (97th percentile) in my last GAMSAT sitting. I have a background in radiotherapy, and so when preparing for GAMSAT I set out to create an approach to Section II that yielded good, consistent results.

I offer 1-on-1 tutoring that involves a methodical approach (i.e. start to finish) to essay writing. This includes analysing themes, planning essays and essay structure. However, specific elements of essay writing can be focused upon depending on your unique needs.
The resources I provide involve the use of several templates that I developed to allow the creation of consistently high-scoring essays. Throughout the lesson, we fill out the templates, as I take you through real examples of what constitutes a high-scoring essay and why. Along the way, we'll make additional notes together on tips & tricks for effective preparation. Following our session, I'll send you a copy of what we went through for your own self-study.
Additionally, I offer essay marking where I critique your essay's response to a set of prompts and detailed feedback on your strengths, areas for improvement.
My aim is to develop you into a proficient writer by developing your idea generation, planning and approach to section II, with particular focus on:
- Complexity of ideas and relevance to the theme
- Essay structure and appropriate language
- Quality of insight, evidence and arguments
