About Abby
Hey! I would love to help you reach your academic goals! I am a chemistry and political science double major which means I have experience in a wide array of classes and concepts. Whether it is electron configurations or how to structure an essay or simply how to become a better test taker to reach a certain score, I have personally walked there and done the work to come out on the other side. I want to walk alongside students like you to help establish the necessary plan to accomplish your goals. I have a wealth of personal experience and all sorts of tips and tricks to help you reach your end goal.

I believer every person is unique. Their goals, passions, and struggles are all different. Before I ever even start a lesson, I want to figure out what the person is trying to get out of our time and how I can best structure the lesson to help them achieve their goals. After we establish this, I am a big believer in zooming out and taking a broad look at a concept and then diving into the detailed work. This detailed work is best done with practice materials. I believe that the more one engages the material, the better. This provides the pathway to reach our end goal as well as adds the details to our zoomed out view of the concept. The end result is a successful student that has reached their goals with a filled out framework of a specific concept. This approach coupled with my skills works best for middle school to high school age students and some early college students who are seeking a better understanding of subjects like chemistry, essay writing, test prep, algebra, and any and all things political science related.
